What Handyman Services Do I Offer?

I offer a wide range of handyman services, a small selection of which are below.  If you don't see the service that you are after, please don't assume that I cannot offer it, just give me a quick call to discuss and I will see if I can help.

I also offer straight labour or assistance on a half or full day basis, to help you with whatever you need.

Decorating

  • General painting (internal and external)

  • Feature walls painting

  • Feature wall wallpaper

General Interior Maintenance

  • Reseal and silicone baths and showers

  • Installation of towel rails and toilet roll holders

  • Flat pack furniture assembly

  • Installation of new shelves

  • Installing new electrical appliances such as fridges, ovens, hobs, washing machines

  • Installation of blinds and curtain rails

  • Installation of new kitchen or bathroom units
  • Hanging pictures
  • Fitting new door/window handles and locks

Woodwork and Leaded Window Repair

  • Repair of rotted windows and window frames 

  • Door Repair

  • General interior wood repair including skirting boards etc

  • Repair of leaded windows (not stained glass), this normally requires removal of the window to my workshop and blanking off the window aperture temporarily

Plumbing​​

  • Leaking tap repair

  • Tap replacement

  • Installing new outside taps

Electrical Work

  • Replacing and installing new electrical sockets, including with USB sockets if required

  • Installing replacement or new light fittings including ceiling and downlighters

  • Rewiring lights etc and putting on new electrical plugs

  • Replacement of light bulbs including moving from incandescent bulbs to LEDs

Outside and Garden Maintenance

  • General garden tidy ups (not horticultural services, although I do look after a mean rose!)

  • External maintenance such as pressure washing driveways and paths, deck cleaning and treatment

  • Moss removal and gutter cleaning

  • Engraved house signs in oak and other hardwoods

Knife and Blade Sharpening

  • Knives

  • Kitchen scissors

  • Lawnmower blades
